Yesterday, on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 we went out with our InterMaths and MathMods students to join the wonderful water light concert in the park “Planten un Blomen” (Hamburg dialect for Pflanzen und Blumen, plants and flours).
The colourful water light concerts are elaborately arranged works of art made of music, light and water. They are staged annually from 1 May to 30 September on the park lake in Planten un Blomen. The music programme changes every two weeks. Yesterday we attended Reverie und Bacchanal, Oboe and English Horn music of Sy Brandon, and music from Hector Gonzáles Pino.
We had a lot of fun and it was a great opportunity to get together before the end-of-semester exams start next week.
