We are glad to inform you that the deadline for application has been extended to April 30, 2018. As you probably know, the EU commission will inform the consortia selected for the awarding of "Erasmus Mundus" scholarships only at the end of June. As a consequence, the MathMods consortium have decided to give some more time to current and prospective candidates to update/complete their application.

Check out the Apply section for details on requirements, scholarships and the link to the online application form.

The 2018 application for our Joint Master's Course MathMods and its related scholarships (as many as 21 available, worth up to 47,000 euros!) is finally open. You now have three months to complete your application, as the deadline is on April 6, 2018.

Browse the Apply section to find information about requirements and the newly-designed scholarship scheme. And make sure you don't miss out our new programme structure, featuring revamped study paths and two new partners (Vienna University of Technology and Hamburg University of Technology).

We're currently applying for the Erasmus+ Call for Proposals 2018 to continue awarding Erasmus Munuds scholarships to our future generations as we have been doing for ten years now since the establishment of our Consortium. In June 2018 we will learn from the EACEA whether we will be financed or not for the next 3 intakes, including the forthcoming one starting in September 2018. Thus, if we are successful, selected applicants will be awarded a full Erasmus Mundus scholarship, as per the amounts specified here. If we shouldn't be selected for Erasmus Mundus scholarships (TBA in June 2018), selected students will be awarded a Consortium scholarship.

If you've got questions about how to apply, take a look at our FAQs or just email us!

  • All the applicants in the main list (students being awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship) are going to receive an email on the next couple of days with detailed instructions on what to do to confirm their position.
  • The European Agency (EACEA) may also award additional scholarships to applicants from specific regions of the world (aka "geographical windows"). According to the EACEA rules, the maximum number of such scholarships for the MathMods MSc is 14. That is why some applicants will find in the list an additional sub-ranking relative to each set geographical window. We hope we will receive a scholarship per each geographical window (and two for Iran). However, this cannot be said now: such additional scholarships will indeed be assigned to the MathMods consortium by the end of April only in case of budget availability (and even more than one scholarship per window might be granted to the same programme).
  • All the applicants in the reserve list (waiting list) are obviously eligible for our MSc programme. They may join our programme as self-funding students (more details will be emailed soon) and even be awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship if their ranking is relatively high and any of the applicants above them should reject our scholarship. Further information about this, as well as details about the possibility to benefit from reduction of the tuition fees and additional grants, will be emailed on the next days.
  • If your ID number is not in the list, unfortunately this means that you are in the non-selected list. This doesn't necessarily mean that your application was not good enough (by the way, we have received around 1040 applications!), but that it was given a ranking lower than the one given to other applicants before you in the list. In actual fact, the European Agency (EACEA) only allows us to have a relatively limited number of eligible students in the reserve list, mainly because of the fact that the number of scholarships is quite limited and it would be no use to have such a long waiting list.

What if I can't recall my ID number?

Your ID no. can be found:

  • in your online profile
  • in your registration email
  • in your confirmation email

If you don't even remember your login and password, visit the page of the application form. You'll find a link that says "Forgot login?"
